PERSOL Singapore is seeking a seasoned Java developer to design, develop and implement changes across NEMS systems. You will perform peer reviews, collaborate with business users, assess risk, and produce precise system specifications for secure, auditable deployments.

The role requires 8+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE experience, expertise in SpringBoot, REST APIs, Oracle DB, and a strong grasp of security practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualificações

• Degree in IT or equivalent training.
• 8+ years development experience in Java/J2EE stack and related tools.
• Experience with secure development lifecycle and security best practices.
• Ability to gather user requirements and translate into design.
• Experience with configuration management and testing methodologies.
• Experience delivering medium to large projects (6+ months, 2+ developers+).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and implement application changes within agreed timelines and standards.
• Perform peer code reviews to ensure quality across NEMS systems.
• Collaborate with Applications team and users to maximize business benefit securely and cost-effectively.
• Assess impact and risk of potential changes to systems and business.
• Create concise system specifications and implement changes accordingly.
• Follow change and version control processes for auditable changes.
• Offer best-practice recommendations and streamline manual tasks via automation.
• Provide application support to Operations when needed.
