PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a senior Java backend developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable banking and payment systems. You will work with Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, and high-performance transaction processing to deliver reliable financial solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in Java, microservices, concurrency, and databases, with hands-on Spring Boot experience and strong REST API skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java, Microservices, Multithreading, SpringBoot, Payments.
Strong hands-on experience in Core Java.
Strong knowledge of Multithreading / Concurrency.
Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot.
Strong experience in Microservices Architecture.
Experience developing REST APIs.
Hands on experience of SQL / Databases.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications for banking and payment systems.
Develop and maintain Spring Boot Microservices and REST APIs.
Work on Java Multithreading / Concurrency for high-performance transaction processing.
Develop and integrate payment processing solutions and banking applications.
Troubleshoot performance, production, and transaction-related issues.
Collaborate with business, technical, and QA teams to deliver reliable solutions.
