Job summary

QUESS SELECTION & SERVICES PTE. LTD. seeks aExperienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise applications using J2EE. You will provide technical leadership, contribute to solution design, and deliver secure, scalable software in line with standards and best practices.

You will mentor team members, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with governance and security guidelines across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring, RESTful APIs, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications using J2EE technologies.
• Analyze requirements and translate into scalable architecture and technical solutions.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable code following standards and best practices.
• Perform technical analysis, design, estimation, and impact assessments for new initiatives.
• Develop and execute unit tests; support integration, system testing, and UAT.
• Investigate and resolve defects, incidents, and performance issues.
