Job summary

QUESS SELECTION & SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking an Experienced Software Engineer with strong J2EE expertise to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable software solutions. Ideal candidates have 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java-based enterprise apps, proficiency in Spring, RESTful APIs, and a solid grasp of microservices, security, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using J2EE technologies.
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to solution architecture.
• Develop maintainable code and ensure compliance with coding standards and security guidelines.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into scalable designs and software solutions.
• Perform unit testing and support integration testing, UAT, and production deployment.
• Investigate defects and performance issues through root cause analysis and provide corrective actions.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with Analysts, Architects, QA, and stakeholders to refine requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation including design specs and deployment guides.
• Mentor junior developers and promote development best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and security.
• Ensure compliance with SDLC and organizational security policies.
