Job summary

TECHEMERGE SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. seeks senior Java backend developers to design, build, and maintain high-throughput digital banking applications.

You will work in Agile teams to develop scalable microservices and resilient API platforms for critical banking services. Key responsibilities include designing and deploying microservices with Java 11/17, securing RESTful APIs, and implementing event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CS/IT/SE.
• 8+ years hands-on Java backend development.
• Strong Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate.
• Experience with AWS or Azure Cloud.
• Microservices, REST APIs, Design Patterns, Distributed Systems.
• Hands-on with Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, or JMS.
• Knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD.
• Banking/FinTech experience mandatory.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking experienced Senior Java Backend Developers to design, build, and maintain high-throughput, mission-critical digital banking applications. The selected candidates will work within Agile delivery teams to develop scalable microservices and resilient API platforms supporting critical banking services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable Microservices using Java 11/17, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Build secure RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with core banking systems, payment gateways, and third-party financial services.
• Implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ.
• Optimize database performance and design solutions leveraging Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven/Gradle, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Perform code reviews, application testing, production support, and performance optimization.

Mandatory Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Java Backend Development.
• Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
• Experience in AWS / Azure Cloud.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, Design Patterns, and Distributed Systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, or JMS.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD practices.
• Prior Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech experience is mandatory.
