Job summary

Unison Group in Singapore is seeking an experienced Java & Microservices Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs, with a strong emphasis on performance and reliability.

You will build microservices, integrate with relational and NoSQL databases, messaging systems, and external APIs; write tests, review code, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes for smooth deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java 8/11/17 or above.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and RESTful web services.
• Experience with API design, integration, and documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Good knowledge of SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
