Job summary

EXASOFT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a senior Java backend developer to build scalable microservices for financial applications. You will craft secure REST APIs, connect with core banking systems and third-party services, and shape event-driven solutions with Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ or JMS.

You will design robust database solutions with Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB, and drive CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins and Maven/Gradle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Java backend development, with enterprise apps.
• Degree in CS/IT/Software Eng or related field.
• Strong Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate.
• Experience with Microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems.
• Hands-on with Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ or JMS for event-driven apps.
• Proficient in Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB and performance tuning.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle; FinTech/Banking exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy scalable Java backend microservices.
• Build secure REST APIs and integrate with banking systems and gateways.
• Develop event-driven apps using Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ or JMS.
• Design and optimize databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Perform code reviews, testing and production support for mission-critical banking apps.
