Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Senior IT Executive to oversee IT infrastructure supporting logistics and warehouse operations in Singapore. You will provide end-user support, maintain hardware and software, and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, strong communication, and the ability to travel for on-call support. A Diploma/ Degree in IT or related field is expected, with 3+ years in warehouse IT support preferred.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
3+ years of relevant warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, automation or onsite IT support experience.
Hands-on troubleshooting of computers, printers, scanners, mobile or RF devices and network connectivity.
Working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
Strong communication, ownership and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure in an operational warehouse environment.
Willingness to travel and provide on-call support.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment such as computers, printers, and peripherals.
Monitor and maintain IT systems, including servers and networks.
Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and support.
Ensure data security and compliance with company policies and standards.
Assist in system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
Participate in IT projects to support business requirements.
Maintain IT documentation, including inventory, procedures, and manuals.
Provide training and guidance to users on IT tools and best practices.
