United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) is seeking an IT Support specialist to own production issues and outages within Compliance Management, tracking progress and escalating to team lead as needed. The role focuses on responsive, proactive business application support for the businesses served.

Qualifications

• Familiar with banking operations for IT Support.
• Hands-on support experience on SQL and Microsoft Technologies / Linux / Unix.
• Willing to be on-call 24 x 7 support and to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Takes ownership to all production issues and outages within Compliance Management by tracking and monitor the issues' progression until their completion.
• Provide responsive, efficient, effective and proactive business application support for the businesses you support.
• Establish and continue to build a collaborative working relationship with business users, development teams and IT partners.
• Continuously maintain and adopt workflow and culture, incident management and ensure high-quality records.
• Facilitate, support, and furnish data for audit requirement timely.
• Ensure you proactively review the production batches, and identify areas to improve batch performance.
• Support champion for DR/BCP in your area and ensure smooth completion of activity.
