Job summary

Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a senior, hands-on Data Architect to own the data design across investment platforms. You will define sourcing, ingestion, and integration of investment data, govern data standards and provide technical leadership to data specialists within the team.

You will help build unified data layers for holdings, market data, and research content, and you will guide the AI-enabled retrieval and analytics capabilities while ensuring compliance with MAS

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience across data architecture, modelling or senior data engineering.
• Experience designing data solutions for investment management or financial services.
• Hands-on with vector search and embedding-based retrieval.
• Experience with modern data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, Spark; cloud services on AWS or Azure.
• Strong architecture documentation and governance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the investment-data architecture across multiple data domains.
• Define source-to-target data flows and mappings; ensure end-to-end data lineage.
• Lead data design reviews and governance with stakeholders.
• Design unstructured data models and retrieval architectures.
• Ensure designs meet MAS standards and government compliance.
