Job summary

Ministry of Education seeks a Senior/Lead Manager, Internal Audit to enhance internal controls and governance across schools, MOE HQ, and statutory boards.

You will develop audit plans, review controls, perform audits, and prepare reports with recommendations to mitigate risks. The ideal candidate has CPA/CIA or ISCA membership, strong analytics, and proactive mindset to improve operations.

Qualifications

• Membership with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants or equivalent.
• CPA or CIA qualifications preferred.
• Independent, self-motivated and proactive professional.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop audit plans for compliance and operational audits across schools, HQ and boards.
• Review adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems.
• Conduct audits to verify compliance with policies and procedures.
• Prepare audit reports with risk findings and actionable recommendations.
