Job summary

The Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) invites an experienced internal auditor to join its team in Singapore. You will provide assurance and advisory services to MCCY management and line divisions, strengthening internal control frameworks and value-for-money practices across the agency.

You will lead risk assessment, plan and supervise audit engagements, and contribute to continuous improvement of governance, risk management and controls within MCCY and its statutory boards.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant audit experience in the public or private sector.
• Professional qualifications such as CIA, CA or CISA would be an advantage.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated engagement and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of Internal Audit in risk assessment to establish a systematic audit plan.
• Execute fieldwork procedures and prepare audit reports highlighting risks and improvements.
• Provide assurance and advisory services to management and line divisions.
• Educate the line divisions on internal controls and best practices for the public sector.
• Be posted to MCCY family Statutory Boards to support internal audit activities.
