Job summary
Neste Singapore Pte. Ltd. in Singapore's Tuas Refinery is seeking a Senior Instrument Engineer to join our Asset Management team, focusing on instrument reliability improvement and engineering support to ensure safe, reliable operations.
You will lead design, commissioning and maintenance support, and contribute to turnaround projects, risk-based improvements, and asset integrity. The role requires 10–15 years in instrumentation with DCS/PLC/SCADA experience.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
- Minimum 10–15 years in instrumentation engineering in process industries.
- Proven design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of instrumentation systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, specification, and selection of field instruments and control valves.
- Provide technical solutions for instrumentation issues and ensure compliance with standards.
- Oversee maintenance strategy and lifecycle management of instrumentation systems.
- Act as SME for projects, modifications, and turnarounds.
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices across instrumentation.
