Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Engineer, Instrumentation & Control for a leading Oil & Gas operator based in the West of Singapore.

You will oversee instrument and control maintenance, support production and maintenance teams, and drive reliability across hazardous areas. Key responsibilities include root cause analysis, MOC implementation, verification and testing of ESD, SIS, PLC systems, and coordination with external stakeholders on gas pipelines, metering interfaces, and safety

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (min requirement).
5+ years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries.
Experience in instrument & control maintenance.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for instrument-related issues for Production and Maintenance teams.
Coordinate with external stakeholders on gas pipeline networks, electrical grids, instruments, and metering interfaces.
Update maintenance procedures for instruments, PLC, Fire & Gas systems, ESD, metering, CCTV, and security equipment.
Conduct root cause analysis for instrument incidents and implement preventive actions.
Ensure verification, inspection, testing, and certification of electrical and instrument equipment in hazardous areas.
Support maintenance and major equipment turnarounds.
Assist in expansion projects ensuring facility integrity and seamless integration.
