Job summary

Neste Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for the Asset Management team at the Tuas Refinery in Singapore. You will develop and manage integrity and lifecycle reliability of mechanical static equipment to achieve high reliability and availability with cost effectiveness.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to implement reliability strategies, support the site Reliability Program and drive continuous improvement across asset strategies and RBI development.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10–15 years in Oil, Gas & Petrochemical industries as a mechanical or fixed equipment engineer.
• Experience in maintenance, asset management, projects and turnaround execution.
• Knowledge of API/ASME standards and plant materials/equipment.
• Well-versed in flange management and repair of pressure equipment.
• Basic understanding of damage mechanisms and inspection codes.
• Experienced in maintenance work control, planning and reliability methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement standards or procedures to support asset integrity and reliability on site.
• Lead refinery-wide reliability improvement initiatives for static equipment.
• Maintain Reliability Risk Register and update risk rankings.
• Develop robust reliability programs including RCM for static equipment.
• Develop critical spare part strategies to minimize downtime.
• Provide mechanical static engineering support for the refinery lifecycle.
• Oversee reviews of new equipment to align asset strategies with long‑term goals.
• Ensure compliance with Asset Integrity and Reliability framework and regulatory requirements.
• Support RBI development on site and inspection planning with timely inspections.
• Lead RCA investigations for equipment failures and drive continuous improvement.
