Job summary

Kidz Meadow Childcare & Development Centre Limited in Singapore is seeking educators to lead curriculum delivery and care for infants to preschoolers. Successful candidates will implement age-appropriate learning experiences, maintain classroom materials, and document development for each child with supportive parent communication.

Requirements include ECDA EY1/EY2, HCIC/CITC or ACEY with EYDF, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• EY1/EY2 Certification from ECDA.
• HCIC/CITC (with EYDF) / ACEY (with EYDF) with 6+ years related experience.
• Excellent English communication to engage with children and parents.
• Leadership and mentoring skills for Infant Educators.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of routine caregiving approach, lesson experiences and learning materials
• Plan and deliver school curriculum using age-appropriate teaching aids to foster holistic learning and development
• Evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum and programmes to ensure that it aligns with the centre’s policies and framework
• Set up an engaging learning environment and maintain upkeep of teaching resources, materials and displays in the classroom
• Engage the children meaningfully through effective communication and nurture them with love and affection
• Document children’s progress and address the children's educational and developmental needs
• Complete the progress report and developmental portfolio for each child every semester
• Carry out routine care duties to ensure safety and hygiene of the children
• Build and maintain positive relationship with children and their parents

Requirements

• Possess EY1/EY2 Certification from ECDA
• Trained in Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) / Certificate in Infant/Toddler Care CITC (with EYDF) / Advanced Certificate in Early (ACEY) with a minimum 6 years of related experience
• Excellent English communication skills to engage and communicate with children and parents
• Possess leadership skills and passion in mentoring your team of Infant Educators
• Possess a positive working attitude and is passionate and enthusiastic with the drive to nurture preschool children aged 2 to 17 months

Location

Jurong West St. 65 (Blk 663C)

Working Hours

• Rotating Shifts
• 5-day work week
• Monday to Friday – 8 to 8.5hrs exclude 1 hour lunch break
• Centre operates from 7am to 7pm (Monday to Friday)

Salary

• $4,900 &above (Salary will commensurate with years of relevant experience)
