Job summary

Kidz Meadow Childcare & Development Centre Limited in Singapore is seeking a Senior Infant Educator to guide and mentor the Infant Educator team while developing and implementing developmentally appropriate curricula for infants.

You will lead curriculum development, coordinate activities with families and community stakeholders, and support colleagues to improve daily practices. The role emphasizes nurturing early learners within our learning-centered centre.

Qualifications

• Possess EY1/EY2 certification from ECDA.
• Trained in HCIC/ACEY with a minimum 5 years of experience in the role.
• Excellent communication skills to engage and communicate with children, parents and peers.
• Positive working attitude and drive to nurture early learners and mentees.
• Minimum 3-4 years with Infant Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Coach and lead the infant care team in the Centre.
• Lead development and evaluate effectiveness of curriculum, pedagogy and programmes aligned to the Early Years Development Framework.
• Lead the coordination of activities with families and community stakeholders Conduct learning needs assessment.
• Mentor colleagues on their work performance to improve daily practice.
• Review caregiving assessments and overall plans to improve routine caregiving.
• Develop outreach activities to promote Centre programmes and services.

Senior Infant Educator

As a Senior Infant Educator, you will play an active role as a mentor to the Infant Educator team. You will also play an important role in the design and implementation of developmentally appropriate curricula and programmes for the day-to-day developmental and caregiving tasks for infants.

Additionally, you will play a key role in contributing to the Centre's culture of continuous learning, collaboration, in line with its vision, mission and goals.

Responsibilities

• Coach and lead the infant care team in the Centre.

Requirement

Working Hours

• 5 day work week

• 42 working hours per week

• Centre operates from 7am to 7pm

• 1 hour lunch break

Salary

• $4,700 - $5,000 (salary will be remunerated according to experience and education)
