Job summary

KIDZ MEADOW CHILDCARE & DEVELOPMENT CENTRE LIMITED is seeking a caregiver/teacher to implement developmentally appropriate activities, plan curricula and nurture young learners. You will document progress, prepare semester portfolios and maintain strong relationships with families.

Role requires LON EY2ECDA and ACEY certifications, strong communication in English and Chinese, and a positive, nurturing attitude. Centre hours are Monday to Friday, with rotating shifts and a 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• Must hold LON EY2 certification from ECDA.
• Must have ACEY certification.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with children and parents.
• Proficiency in Chinese at N/O Level; able to communicate in English & Chinese with children and parents.

Job description

• Plan and deliver school curriculum using age-appropriate teaching aids to foster holistic learning and development

• Engage the children meaningfully through effective communication and nurture them with love and affection

• Document children’s progress and address the children's educational and developmental needs

• Complete the progress report and developmental portfolio for each child every semester

• Build and maintain positive relationship with children and their parent

• Support simple Chinese teaching and communication during classroom activities

Requirements

• Must have LON EY2 Certification from ECDA

• Must have Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)

• Possess a positive working attitude and have the drive to nurture early learners

• Possess good communication skills

• Good credit in Chinese Language at N/O Level and able to communicate effectively in English & Chinese with children and parents
