Job summary

Atlaz is seeking an Infant / Early Years Educator to join its Jurong West centre in Singapore. You will create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children and support their daily routines.

You will plan age-appropriate activities aligned with the centre curriculum, observe development, communicate with parents and collaborate with fellow educators to deliver high-quality early education.

Qualifications

• Relevant Early Childhood qualification with EY2 certification.
• Able to teach and communicate confidently in English.
• Patient, nurturing and passionate about working with young children.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work well within a team.

About the Role

Our client, an established preschool operator, is seeking an Infant / Early Years Educator to join its centre in Jurong West.

The role is suitable for an educator who enjoys working closely with young children and creating a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out age-appropriate learning activities in line with the centre’s curriculum.


• Support children’s learning, development, wellbeing and daily routines.


• Create a safe, caring and engaging classroom environment.


• Observe and document children’s development and learning progress.


• Build positive relationships with parents and provide appropriate updates on their child’s progress.


• Work closely with fellow educators and centre leadership.


• Prepare classroom resources and learning materials.


• Support centre activities, events and parent engagement initiatives.


• Maintain required classroom records and documentation.

Requirements

• Relevant Early Childhood qualification with EY2 certification.
