Job summary
T.C. KHOO & CO. (PTE) LTD is seeking an experiencedElectrical/Automation Engineer to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery in Singapore. You will diagnose electrical/electronic faults, troubleshoot PLCs and drives, and ensure safe operation after repairs.

Qualifications
- More than 10 years practical experience in industrial machine maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting.
- Experience with 415 V three-phase machinery and inverter-controlled motors.
- Expert experience in Omron PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Ability to diagnose faults in PLC systems, machine control boards and electrical control circuits.
- Proficient with electrical diagnostic instruments.
- Ability to work independently and identify root causes of breakdowns.
- Relevant qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics or Automation Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in steam generation systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic and control system faults.
- Troubleshoot three-phase motors, inverter drives (VFDs), sensors, relays, contactors and wiring.
- Troubleshoot, modify and program Omron PLCs, including inputs, outputs, logic and communication faults.
- Identify fault origins in PLC hardware, programming, control boards or connected components.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and manuals.
- Test repaired machinery, confirm safe operation and document actions taken.
- Follow electrical safety procedures including lockout/tagout.
