Job summary

SR Maintenance and Engineering PTE. LTD. seeks an Electrical and Control Engineer to design, install, test, commission, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems across projects.

You will read drawings, supervise site works, and ensure safe operation while maintaining instrumented systems. The role requires experience with PLC, HMI, VFD and instrumentation, plus the ability to work independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Control, Instrumentation or related field.
• Experience with electrical installation, industrial controls, maintenance or automation.
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, VFD, instrumentation, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics and manuals.
• Good problem-solving, communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to travel to project sites for site work.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, test, commission and troubleshoot electrical systems and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
• Troubleshoot faults in motors, panels, switchboards and circuits.
• Install, configure, maintain PLC, HMI and control systems; assist with programming.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and project teams; prepare reports and documentation.
• Ensure safety and compliance with Singapore standards and regulations.
