Job summary

Talentsis in Singapore seeks an Electrical/Automation Engineer to contribute to system design, prototyping, commissioning and testing of industrial control projects.

You will liaise with customers, vendors and project teams to ensure milestones are met, read electrical drawings and perform testing, troubleshooting and coordination under pressure. Mandarin speaking is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• At least a Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–2 years project environment experience in PLC/SCADA or Industrial Control Real Time Systems.
• Knowledge in industrial interface protocols such as Modbus or others.
• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics, plans, drawings etc.
• Able to work under pressure, multitask and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Good interpersonal skills, able to work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Involved in system design, interface design, engineering drawings and design documents.
• Liaise with customers, vendors, project team members and interfacing contractors to ensure milestones.
• Participate in factory acceptance testing and site testing & commissioning activities.
• Participate in design and interface meetings with customers and interfacing parties.
• Capable of performing troubleshooting and issue follow-up independently.
