Job summary

Selby Jennings in Singapore seeks an Investment Data & Benchmark Operations Manager to oversee end‑to‑end lifecycle of benchmark and index data for the firm's Singapore team.

You will manage daily index operations, ensure data quality, and collaborate with investment, risk, data, tech and rebalancing teams to drive platform improvements.

Experience in index management and familiarity with providers such as MSCI, Bloomberg, Refinitiv or S&P is preferred; AI or analytics experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in index management and benchmark operations.
• Strong data governance and quality controls.
• Ability to improve processes and automate workflows.
• Experience with data providers such as MSCI, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, S&P or similar is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of the index platform ensuring timely publication of index values.
• Oversee data completeness for index calculations including prices and market information.
• Perform index methodology checks and investigate discrepancies in calculations and published values.
• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of benchmark and index data across systems and processes.
• Develop and maintain governance frameworks for index operations.
• Collaborate with investment, risk, data, technology and rebalancing teams on index needs.
• Identify opportunities to automate and scale workflows.
• Partner with technology teams to implement new tools and enhancements.
• Lead projects on platform improvements and risk reduction.
• Explore AI and advanced analytics to strengthen data-quality monitoring and workflow efficiency.
