Job summary

Eastspring Investments (Singapore) Limited is seeking a senior Benchmark/Data Manager to lead data requirements, governance and lifecycle for benchmarks across the firm.

The role requires extensive experience in asset management and benchmark analytics, with strong vendor management and project leadership capabilities. You will collaborate with investment teams and operate across ESG-aware benchmark design.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data management within asset management.
• Experience in investment management, benchmark governance or performance analytics.
• Strong understanding of index methodologies and benchmark construction.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and licensing.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead gathering and consolidation of benchmark and market data requirements.
• Collaborate with investment teams to ensure benchmarks meet portfolio and performance needs.
• Maintain central benchmark master; manage lifecycle governance, data validation and oversight.
• Ensure benchmark practices comply with internal policies and external regulations.
• Manage vendor relationships and licensing; review data services for cost optimization.
• Drive automation and process improvements in benchmark management.
• Support onboarding, oversight and offboarding of benchmarks across the firm.
