Job summary

Loftware in Singapore (Hybrid) is seeking an Sr. Technical Consultant - Implementation Engineer to lead technical implementations, system installations, and integrations.

You will manage projects with a structured methodology, ensure knowledge transfer, and drive go-live readiness for clients in the life sciences sector. The role requires extensive collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales, and may involve on-site or remote work with limited travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences industry.
• Experience in customer-facing application support, technical support, or professional services.
• Strong business analysis and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to understand customer workflows and translate business requirements into software solutions.
• Willingness to travel (25-50%).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with the ability to build trust and strong relationships.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
• Quick learner with the ability to grasp technical concepts rapidly.

Responsibilities

• Understand customers’ requirements and collect system specs (servers, DBs, integrations) from customers.
• Analyze and design system changes to meet business needs and document them.
• Perform installation, configuration, deployment and maintenance of high availability solutions using AWS and/or On-Premise.
• Assist various tests (Smoke, SIT/UAT, load/regression) and prepare documents, coordinating with management on delays.
• Document project system setup and deliverables in the implementation report.
• Collaborate with Loftware Project Manager to manage tasks, milestones, and change requests.
