Job summary

Surbana Jurong in Singapore seeks an Operations Manager to drive the performance of assigned Facilities Management contracts, ensuring excellence, compliance and client satisfaction. You will lead multi-site operations, oversee contractors and budgets, and ensure fire safety and statutory compliance across all sites.

You will coach site teams, manage relationships with clients, and deliver continuous improvement in Integrated Facilities Management services.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of Facilities Management experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience managing government-sector or large-scale Integrated Facilities Management contracts.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, statutory compliance, fire safety, building services and facilities operations.
• Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification preferred; SCEM, Green Mark Facility Manager or equivalent FM certifications an advantage.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, financial management, negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS/CAFM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall performance of FM contracts, ensuring compliance with KPIs, SLAs and statutory requirements.
• Lead multi-site facilities operations, ensuring reliability of building systems and service delivery.
• Coach and develop site management teams to drive performance and capability.
• Build and maintain client relationships through reviews, issue resolution and service improvements.
• Oversee contractor and vendor performance, safety compliance and service quality standards.
• Manage budgets, procurement, forecasting, lifecycle planning and cost optimisation.
• Lead incident management, fire safety, risk management and performance reporting.
