Job summary
CAMERON (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support the Engineering Lead in managing mechanical, structural, and piping scopes for hyperscale data centers across design, construction, testing, installation, and commissioning.
You will ensure compliance with client requirements and standards, review drawings, lead design sessions, prepare requisitions, BOMs, and deliver technical support during construction and site operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of mechanical design/engineering experience for data center infra.
- Strong knowledge of piping, fire suppression, and codes.
- Proficient in CAD tools and software (Revit, AutoCAD, CAESAR II).
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve mechanical drawings to satisfy standards and codes.
- Monitor engineering work for accuracy, safety, and client specs.
- Lead design and development planning sessions with stakeholders.
- Prepare requisitions for mechanical systems and materials.
- Evaluate vendor quotes and provide procurement feedback.
- Develop BOMs, MTOs, and equipment datasheets for projects.
- Provide site support during installation and commissioning.
- Review as-built drawings and revalidate calculations.
