Job summary

Cameron (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering lead to support the Engineering Manager and drive technical activities for complex data center facility components.

You will collaborate across teams to ensure delivery aligns with client requirements and industry standards. You will review drawings, manage design planning, and prepare mechanical deliverables while seeking cost-efficient, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with data center expertise.
• Minimum 10 years of mechanical design and engineering experience in data center infrastructure.
• Proficiency in producing drawings and sketches to illustrate designs.
• Knowledge of data center construction, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Experience with CAD and BIM software.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all technical engineering activities within the team to align with project goals.
• Review, check, and approve engineering drawings and documentation to meet standards.
• Monitor engineering work for accuracy and compliance with client specs and codes.
• Initiate and participate in design and development planning and review sessions.
• Prepare technical requisitions and mechanical deliverables (valve lists, equipment lists, piping, stress studies).
• Develop cost-saving, quality-assuring engineering solutions.
• Provide technical support during construction phases and address RFIs.
• Attend job site visits, project meetings, and commissioning activities as required.
