Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an on-site Electrical/Mechanical Project Manager to lead awarded projects from planning through completion, ensuring client satisfaction and budget targets.

You will coordinate with clients, manage subcontractors, and oversee M&E services in a fast-paced environment. The role requires an engineering degree and 8+ years in construction or cost management, with HVAC knowledge and proficiency in CAD/REVIT, MS Office, and estimating tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Power, Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 8 years of extensive experience in construction, design, and cost management as an Electrical/Mechanical Project Manager or similar role.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems is required.
• Proficiency in AUTOCAD, REVIT, MS Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint), and estimation software (Accubid & MEP).
• Experience managing large commercial, institutional, and industrial projects valued at N10 million and above is preferred.
• Experience in estimating, site surveying, project sequencing, methodologies, materials practices, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete assigned projects within budget and client satisfaction.
• Delegate tasks effectively to meet project objectives.
• Coordinate communication with customers through all project phases and manage subcontractors.
• Define client requirements and document expectations for each project.
• Oversee M&E contractors and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Monitor project cost procurement and budgeting.
