Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced HVAC Assistant Project Manager to lead retrofit projects in commercial, institutional, and industrial environments. The role requires strong knowledge of HVAC systems, project documentation, and coordination with M&E contractors to ensure timely, within-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in HVAC retrofit/project management, with proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering or related field is required.
• 10+ years’ experience in HVAC Retrofit, design and cost management in project roles.
• Proficiency with AUTOCAD, REVIT and MS Office suite.
• Experience managing large commercial, institutional and industrial projects (>$20M).

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to establish requirements and scope.
• Produce and review documentation for tender and project plans.
• Manage a portfolio of M&E contractors through project lifecycle.
• Ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence across projects.
• Coordinate with clients and consultants; monitor health, safety and compliance.
• Prepare pre-job meetings and document control; report progress to management.
