Job summary

Oceanstar Elite Engineering Groups PTE. LTD. invites an experienced Senior HVAC Engineer to lead design, specification, and selection of offshore HVAC packages for FPSO projects.

You will own heat load calculations, ducting layouts, and coordination with other disciplines to ensure safety, reliability, and timely delivery. With 10+ years in HVAC, including FPSO/offshore experience, you will review datasheets, support FAT/SAT, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance with ISO/ASME, IACS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HVAC engineering.
• 10+ years of experience, including FPSO/offshore projects.
• Strong expertise in ISO/ASME standards, vibration, IACS class rules, and IMO regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, specification, and selection of HVAC equipment packages.
• Lead HVAC heat load calculation, air flow calculation, ducting pressure loss calculation, ducting layout, etc.
• Take ownership of critical packages (e.g., air conditioning unit, ventilation fans, air handling unit, provision refrigeration plant).
• Review and approval of datasheets, specifications, engineering deliverables, vendor documents and deviations.
• Lead technical bid evaluations and vendor clarifications.
• Act as technical authority during FAT, SAT, and commissioning.
• Manage interfaces across disciplines and packages.
• Perform advanced trouble shooting and root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with project, client, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers.
