Job summary

HANWHA OFFSHORE ENGINEERING SERVICES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an HVAC engineer to design systems for marine and offshore projects, perform load calculations, ductwork and piping layouts, and prepare drawings using AutoCAD and HAP.

You must have a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, experience in HVAC design, and familiarity with marine/offshore standards and safety practices; proficiency in MS Office is required and strong analytical and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in HVAC design, preferably within marine and offshore industries.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, HAP, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with marine/offshore standards and construction safety practices.
• Knowledge of pressure vessel design codes is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems, including load calculations, ductwork, and piping layouts.
• Select and specify HVAC equipment and components.
• Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and HAP.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical problem resolution.
• Develop energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC solutions.
