Job summary

Johnson Controls in Singapore is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC design for mid-to-large projects. You will develop detailed drawings, perform load analyses, and prepare BOMs and tender docs, ensuring compliance with ASHRAE and local codes.

You will collaborate with sales, project management, and solutions teams, review consultant designs, and mentor junior engineers while supporting commissioning and site activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in HVAC system design, including chilled water or condenser systems.
• Hands-on proficiency in HVAC design software (Revit, AutoCAD) and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and equipment specifications.
• Perform HVAC load calculations, pump head calculations, pipe sizing, and system design.
• Prepare BOMs, tender docs, and equipment selections; ensure codes and standards compliance.
• Coordinate with sales, PM, and solutions teams to support pre‑sales and project execution.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in design reviews and site assessments.
