Strategic HR Leadership
Serve as a strategic business partner to the Chief Executive Officer, Operations Directors, and Restaurant Managers to develop and execute people strategies that support business growth, operational excellence, and profitability.
Develop and implement HR initiatives aligned with the organization's vision, culture, and long-term business objectives.
Provide strategic advice on organizational design, workforce optimization, succession planning, and change management across multiple restaurant locations.
Drive workforce productivity through data-driven people strategies, workforce analytics, and operational planning.
Lead HR transformation initiatives, including process improvements, digital HR solutions, and continuous improvement projects.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Develop and execute end-to-end recruitment strategies for restaurant operations, corporate functions, and leadership positions.
Establish workforce planning strategies to ensure adequate staffing levels across all outlets while balancing labour costs and operational requirements.
Strengthen employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice within the hospitality and F&B industry.
Build partnerships with educational institutions, government agencies, and recruitment partners to develop sustainable talent pipelines.
Oversee onboarding and probation management to improve employee retention and accelerate productivity.
Employee Relations & Industrial Relations
Lead the resolution of complex employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary investigations, workplace disputes, and conflict resolution.
Advise and coach senior management on employee performance, conduct, employment legislation, and HR best practices.
Ensure compliance with employment laws, workplace safety regulations, collective agreements, and internal policies.
Maintain positive industrial relations by engaging proactively with employee representatives and union stakeholders where applicable.
Develop strategies that promote employee engagement, workplace harmony, and a positive organizational culture while minimizing legal and operational risks.
Learning, Development & Performance Management
Lead the organization's performance management framework, ensuring clear performance expectations, regular feedback, and accountability.
Partner with operational leaders to identify capability gaps and implement learning and development initiatives that strengthen leadership and operational excellence.
Design succession planning and leadership development programmes to build a strong pipeline of restaurant managers and future business leaders.
Champion a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, recognition programmes, and career development opportunities.
Monitor training effectiveness and ensure compliance with mandatory operational, food safety, and workplace training requirements.
Compensation, Benefits & Rewards
Lead annual salary review exercises, incentive programmes, and compensation benchmarking to maintain market competitiveness.
Partner with Finance and Operations to optimize labour costs while ensuring fair and equitable remuneration practices.
Review and enhance employee benefits and recognition programmes to improve attraction, engagement, and retention.
Provide strategic guidance on remuneration frameworks, allowances, incentives, and reward programmes that support operational performance.
HR Operations, Compliance & Governance
Oversee all HR operations, including HRIS, employee records, payroll coordination, reporting, and policy administration.
Ensure full compliance with employment legislation, labour regulations, workplace health and safety requirements, and company governance standards.
Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and standard operating practices to support business consistency across all restaurant locations.
Monitor and analyse key HR metrics, including turnover, absenteeism, labour costs, recruitment effectiveness, overtime, employee engagement, and workforce productivity.
Lead HR audits, compliance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce organizational risk.
Employee Engagement & Culture
Develop and implement employee engagement strategies that strengthen organizational culture, employee experience, and retention.
Lead employee recognition, wellness, diversity and inclusion, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Conduct employee engagement surveys, analyse feedback, and implement action plans to improve workplace satisfaction and performance.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer service excellence, and continuous learning across all restaurant operations.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, building a high-performing function that delivers strategic value to the business.
Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and other business functions to support organizational objectives and operational excellence.
Manage departmental budgets, vendor relationships, HR technology initiatives, and strategic projects.
Present HR insights, workforce trends, and strategic recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team.
Act as a trusted advisor and change leader during organizational restructuring, acquisitions, new restaurant openings, and business transformation initiatives.

Requirements
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
At least 8 years of experience in a related field is required for this position. Preferably, candidates will have at least 5 years experience as a Human Resources Manager or equivalent.
Experience in the F&B sector will be considered favourably.
Good verbal & written communication in English.
