Job summary

Nippon Sanso Singapore Ltd is seeking a Senior Executive - HSE to lead health, safety and environmental programmes across our operations in the Singapore region. The role drives compliance with applicable legislation, promotes a proactive safety culture, and reports to senior management on risk, performance and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• NEBOSH/OHSAS 18001 or equivalent certification desirable.
• Minimum 4+ years of professional HSE experience, preferably in gas/industrial sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures and strategies aligned with regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses across operations.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Provide HSE guidance, training and support to operational teams.
• Monitor HSE performance metrics and report to leadership.
• Liaise with regulators and manage audits and approvals.
• Oversee environmental management, waste management and prevention initiatives.
• Lead HSE awareness campaigns and continuous improvement programs.
• Manage HSE budgets and resources.
• Serve as Safety Coordinator on site for customer sites.
