Job summary

MINDEF seeks a Principal Staff Officer to the Head of Training Support Branch and Deputy Commander (Army). You will provide specialist guidance across HR, Finance and Logistics to enable the Officer Cadet School to nurture leaders for Singapore and the SAF.

You will coordinate governance across OCS sub-units, manage HHQ and external vendor relationships, and lead multi-stakeholder initiatives to ensure seamless operations and mission success.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in HR, Finance, Administration, and Logistics, preferably in a large and complex organisation.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated analytical judgement, sound decision-making, and leadership capabilities in a multi-stakeholder environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal advisor on HR, Finance, and Logistics matters across OCS.
• Provide specialised expertise to military counterparts that complements their operational experience.
• Oversee and coordinate administrative and logistical functions across all OCS sub-units.
• Manage relationships with Higher Headquarters (HHQ) stakeholders, sub-unit commanders and their admin teams, as well as external vendors and contract managers.
• Engage diverse stakeholders with competing priorities to ensure seamless delivery of OCS operations.
