Job summary

China Taiping Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Head of HR to lead the HR function and align people strategies with business goals.

The role oversees HR budgeting, recruitment, compensation & benefits, training and development, performance and talent management, employee engagement, and labour relations, with governance through SOPs and policies. Fluency in English and Chinese is required for group reporting and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years’ relevant experience in human resources within the insurance industry.
• Sound knowledge of Employment Act and HR-related legislation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Head of HR to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead, supervise and guide HR team across budgeting, recruitment, compensation & benefits, training, development, performance and talent management, employee engagement and labour relations.
• Develop, review and administer HR policies and SOPs to ensure strategic alignment and statutory compliance.
