Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Senior HR Manager to serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and managers, guiding on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning and policy implementation.

The role focuses on governance, compliance with Singapore regulations, and driving consistent HR practices across the organization. You will support management in handling complex employee matters and oversee HR governance and transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline, preferably IHRP certified.
• 8–15 years of progressive HR experience in HR business partnering or advisory roles.
• Experience in multi-outlet, retail, hospitality or fast-paced environments is advantageous.
• Strong advisory experience to business leaders and leadership teams.
• Experience in workforce planning within dynamic environments.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, MOM requirements and Tripartite guidelines.
• Experience in employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, investigations and performance management.
• Ability to translate HR policies into practical guidance for stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Sound judgement handling confidential employee matters.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted HR Advisor to business leaders, department heads and line managers on a broad range of people-related matters.
• Provide practical and balanced HR advice aligned with business needs, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Partner leaders on manpower planning and organisational needs to manage a diverse workforce.
• Review headcount requirements and provide recommendations on deployment.
• Guide managers on employee relations, performance management and organisational changes.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide proactive HR support to the business.
• Identify people-related risks and propose preventive actions.
• Manage complex employee relations matters, including grievances and misconduct.
