Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Senior Building Engineer (Healthcare) to oversee ACMV and M&E systems across the hospital premises. You will manage PM, Capex projects, and contracts with specialist vendors, ensuring system reliability and compliance with health standards.

You will audit outsourced maintenance, supervise the M&E team, and drive system upgrades through MOH/AH initiatives. Strong project management, technical drawing and safety credentials are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Five years of ACMV/M&E facilities management experience
• Eight years of ACMV/M&E facilities management experience for Diploma holders
• Fire safety certification or experience is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Oversee ACMV and Mechanical Systems (M&E) serving hospital premises and coordinate with service partners for PM, Capex, and contracts
• Manage operation, maintenance, modification and replacement of hospital facilities and non-clinical equipment
• Audit outsourced maintenance performance to ensure compliance with hospital standards and KPIs
• Support and manage cyclic and improvement projects for hospital systems and building infrastructure
• Supervise outsourced M&E team and ensure preventive maintenance and safety standards are met
• Coordinate improvement projects and system upgrades through MOH/AH funded initiatives
• Provide advisory support and troubleshooting for specialised systems failures and condemnations when necessary
• Prepare technical specs, drawings, cost estimates, and work schedules for projects
• Liaise with external consultants and oversee inspections and project take-over activities
• Ensure maintenance safety practices align with infection control and patient safety needs
