Job summary

Oliver James Group is seeking a senior leader to manage a specialist case management team handling complex HNW and UHNW life insurance cases. The role features cross-border complexities, coordination with brokers, private bankers and underwriting teams, and a focus on delivering high-quality client experiences.

The ideal candidate has around 10 years in life insurance or related fields, with leadership experience and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

10+ years in life insurance / case management / underwriting operations
Leadership experience guiding a specialist team for HNW/UHNW cases
Strong stakeholder management with distribution partners and brokers
Experience with Bermuda-regulated or offshore HNW products is preferred

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a specialist case management team for complex HNW/UHNW cases.
Oversee cases from submission through underwriting assessment to policy issuance.
Act as senior escalation point for high-value and non-standard cases.
Coordinate jumbo, multi-life, and key-person insurance cases across borders.
Collaborate with reinsurers, medical providers and internal stakeholders for efficient progression.
Ensure complete information and clear underwriting guidance to distributors.
Monitor milestones, timelines and case outcomes with governance and audits.
