Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced Validation Engineer to join the HBM High Bandwidth Memory group in Singapore.

The role focuses on end-to-end validation, design verification, and data analysis to ensure low power per bit and high reliability for ML/AI workloads. You will work with Design, Manufacturing, Test and Quality teams, applying Verilog/VHDL/SystemVerilog knowledge and lab debugging skills to push state-of-the-art memory solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field; equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in VLSI/semiconductor engineering.
• Strong knowledge of VLSI, semiconductor process, and device physics.
• Experience with Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.
• Experience with schematic, simulation, data analysis, or lab debugging.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across Design, Manufacturing, Test and Quality with internal and external teams.
• Perform validation on test modes and designs using simulation and data analysis.
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing, test, and quality issues via hardware/software debugging.
• Promote innovation and challenge status quo to maintain Micron’s competitive edge.
• Analyze validation data using in-house statistical tools for risk assessment.
• Understand JEDEC specs for HBM and document internal architecture and schematics.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by AI-enabled enhancements within scope.
