Job summary

The Ministry of Finance (Singapore) seeks a Senior Associate/Associate (Grants Governance) to strengthen governance of government grants through robust processes, systems and technology enablers. You will staff the Grants Management Committee and coordinate cross-agency initiatives, contributing to risk management and policy development.

This contract role requires 2–10 years in grant governance, with finance/accounting/economics background and strong facilitation, negotiation, and writing

Qualifications

• Background in finance, accounting and economics preferred.
• 2 to 10 years of working experience in grant making, governance and controls is advantageous.
• Strong facilitation, negotiation, persuasion, strategic thinking, analytical, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Sectoral Leads (MCCY, MSF, MOH, SSG, MTI, NRF, A*STAR) and Domain Leads (IRAS, CAD, GovTech) to develop and implement initiatives for grants management.
• Staff the Grants Management Committee and coordinate cross-domain efforts.
• Formulate and review policies to address emerging risks and audit observations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deploy technological solutions for risk management.
