The Ministry of Finance is seeking a professional to strengthen governance of government grants through robust management processes and technology enablers. You will staff the Grants Management Committee that coordinates efforts across the public sector and monitors the overall progress of initiatives to improve grants governance.

The role requires a background in finance and governance, with 2 to 10 years in grant making and controls.

Qualifications

• Background in finance, accounting and economics preferred.
• 2 to 10 years of experience in grant making, governance and controls.
• Interest in reviewing policies, processes and practices.
• Good facilitation, negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Strong strategic, analytical and planning abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills.

Responsabilités

• Engage with Sectoral Leads and Domain Leads to develop and implement grants governance initiatives.
• Staff the Grants Management Committee and monitor progress across sectors.
• Formulate and review policies to address evolving grant risks and audit observations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deploy technology to enhance risk management.
• Undertake other assigned projects.
