Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist to lead the logistics team and manage end-to-end warehouse and shipping operations. The role covers global freight forwarding, inventory control, and compliance with shipping documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in supply chain-related fields with at least 5 years in warehouse management, and a proven ability to develop and lead logistics teams through complex operations.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of extensive experience in warehouse management, with deep expertise in shipping and freight forwarding operations.
Proven track record of managing and developing logistics teams.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage the logistics team covering daily store and shipping operations.
Oversee total warehouse management, ensuring stocks are properly located, ordered, labelled, and traceable in the HUB.
Drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations, space optimization, and safety procedures.
Ensure all receipts and shipments are accurately entered into the Business system.
Manage global freight forwarding operations and liaise with freight forwarders on complex bookings.
Oversee packing, crating, and dispatch of spare parts as requested by marketing.
Lead inbound receipt checks, GRNs generation, and transfer of items to QC for inspection and kitting.
Lead annual stock-take and audit processes.
