Job summary

TOKYO ELECTRON SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Import & Export Specialist to oversee global shipments, ensure compliance, and optimize cross-border processes.

You will manage customs clearance, documentation, and regulatory requirements while aligning with broader supply-chain goals. The role requires a degree in Logistics and at least 10 years of international trade experience, with strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in import/export, international trade, logistics, or supply chain.
• Knowledge of logistic compliance (SGCA), HS Code and Dangerous Goods (IATA DGR).
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, international trade regulations, Incoterms, freight operations and trade documentation.
• JLPT N1 level advantageous for liaising with Japan headquarter and factories.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end import and export activities across markets.
• Manage international shipments, customs clearance, trade documentation and delivery requirements.
• Ensure shipments comply with applicable import/export regulations, customs requirements and company policies.
• Coordinate complex or high-value international shipments and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Monitor shipment performance, lead times, delays and service levels.
