Job summary

Standard Chartered in Singapore seeks a Senior Fixed Income Investment Strategist to coordinate views across global markets and support CIO Office messaging. You will develop and articulate market views across corporate and sovereign bonds, driving investment ideas and client briefing materials.

The role requires strong communication skills, collaboration with relationship managers, and mentoring junior colleagues, while upholding governance in the decision-making process.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Fixed Income Investment Strategist with credit analysis experience.
• Strong macroeconomic knowledge with ability to develop views on Asian and developed credit markets.
• Experience from buy side or private banks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate creation and maintenance of fixed income market views across global markets.
• Collaborate to formulate house views and demonstrate performance through investments.
• Communicate CIO Office views through high-quality written, verbal and multimedia channels for internal and external audiences.
• Act as a strong advocate of CIO Office fixed income views in engagements with clients.
• Partner with relationship managers and product specialists to support client meetings and contribute to fixed income idea generation.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster development and growth.
• Ensure the maintenance of a high-quality governance framework underpinning investment decision-making and view-formation process.
