Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial crime law across sanctions, AML/CFT, and related disciplines.
• Direct regulatory engagement with bodies like OFAC, FinCEN, FCA, DOJ.
• Experience managing voluntary disclosures and regulatory investigations.
• Ability to translate complex legal risk for senior management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead legal counsel across financial crime disciplines: sanctions, AML/CFT, ABC, fraud, market abuse.
• Provide authoritative legal advice on risks across Binance's products, services and jurisdictions.
• Act as primary liaison with regulators, law enforcement, and FIUs on financial crime matters.
• Lead responses to regulatory inquiries, investigations, enforcement actions and voluntary disclosures.
• Advise on sanctions matters including license applications and SDN screening.
• Collaborate with global compliance, investigations, and monitoring teams to mitigate risks.
• Review financial crime implications of new products and partnerships.
• Oversee engagement with external counsel on financial crime matters.
• Develop and maintain financial crime policies and guidance.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise senior management.
• Drive training and awareness initiatives for internal stakeholders.
