Job summary

Binance is seeking a senior compliance professional to drive remediation initiatives across the GMLRO office, coordinating with global and regional teams to strengthen AML governance and reporting. You will oversee SARs/STRs, risk assessments, horizon scanning, and governance forums, and prepare board reports for global and local entities in a decentralised, matrixed, multilingual environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience, including 3+ years in financial crime compliance / AML, ideally at a global or multi-jurisdictional organisation.
• Hands-on experience building or overhauling AML governance frameworks, policies, assurance programmes, and governance committee structures (Board, RCC).
• Experience handling SARs/STRs, high-risk customer decisions, and regulatory investigations.
• Deep knowledge of global AML/CFT frameworks and FATF standards, including KYC/KYB, EDD, transaction monitoring, and sanctions.
• Background at a global crypto exchange, bank, or payments company with complex multi-entity structures, plus working knowledge of AML technology, typologies, and financial crime risk assessments.
• Able to influence without authority, navigate jurisdictional tensions, and standardise without overriding local autonomy.
• Track record of building collaborative relationships across cultures and time zones, and comfortable in a decentralised, matrixed structure.
