Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Chem/Gas Manager for the Global Facilities South Asia region.

The role leads a multi-discipline engineering team responsible for chemical and gas systems across Micron sites, driving design, construction, start-up, operations and maintenance with a focus on reliability, sustainability, and performance. You will work closely with global and regional teams to standardize engineering practices, manage project costs and schedules, and mentor staff toward

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 15–20 years of experience in semiconductor and/or facilities industries.
• Technical expertise in facilities and semiconductor chemical and gas systems.
• Ability to build and lead teams and develop people’s careers.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% of the time or more.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-discipline engineering team across design, construction, start-up, operations and maintenance.
• Provide technical ownership and support for Micron’s Global Facilities network in South Asia.
• Collaborate with Global, Regional and Site facilities, construction, procurement, operations, manufacturing, IT and planning teams.
• Drive innovation, cost management and sustainable practices across projects and programs.
• Ensure designs comply with standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
