Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer GFAC South Asia - Chemical to lead chemical system design for construction projects and to provide regional O&M support across multiple sites in the South Asia network.

You will spearhead TPM and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with global teams to optimize energy use and safety in bulk and specialty chemical systems. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of facilities gas system experience in semiconductor environments,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of Facilities Gas system engineering experience in semiconductor environments.
• Experience supporting engineering projects from concept development through commissioning and operational support.

Responsibilities

• Lead chemical system design for construction projects.
• Provide site/regional support for global facility initiatives.
• Technically lead a global cross functional team focused on operational excellence with the site chemical systems engineers.
• Provide support to all sites including on site presence for critical failures.
• Drive improvement in the quality of our utilities through variation reduction (SPC).
• Identify and deploy cost reduction efforts while optimizing and reducing energy usage for Gas systems throughout the network.
